Perhaps one of the most beautiful and romantic cities in Spain, Seville, with its marvelous historic center made up of small streets that intersect each other where typical houses of the city sprout in shades of yellow, pink and white. Many are the characteristic places to visit like the Torre dell’Oro, the Alcazar gardens, Plaza de Epaña, the Cathedral, and the beautiful Parque de Maria Luisa, all to be done absolutely aboard a splendid carriage! We advise you not to visit it in too hot periods, such as July or August when the temperatures are quite high. The outfits we recommend are for sure sporty for the day but they should not miss elegant clothes and shoes for romantic evenings for two.
If instead for your honeymoon you want to disconnect from everything and everyone and visit one of the most extraordinary places that exist, you can only choose Lanzarote, the island of the Canary archipelago with a lunar face. Incredible landscapes will follow one another during your journey on the road: black beaches, such as the Playa Quemada, or golden beaches like the famous Papagayo, not to mention the Hervideros, where black rocks and blue ocean create a spectacle of natural beauty for the eyes. It is one of the best places of honeymoon in Spain.
In short, a paradise for this island of volcanic origin, where you can also visit Los James del Agua, the Timanfaya volcano and discover its ancient history. Another feature of this island so different from the other Canary Islands is the very low vegetation due to the almost absent rains. Finally, Lanzarote is perfect to visit almost all year round as average temperatures always fluctuate around 22/23 degrees, a perfect destination for your winter honeymoon as well!
We return to Andalusia, this time to Granada, another province in the southernmost region of Spain, renowned for its ancient beauty of Arab origin. Imposing and beautiful throughout the city is undoubtedly the Alhambra, the mosque remained intact and that you can visit every day (we advise you to book on the official website well in advance!). Also, to see the Albayzin, the historic district characterized by white Cuevas, where you can stop and sip a refreshing drink and admire the Alhambra and the dense vegetation surrounding it. If you are in Granada, you can’t miss a flamenco tablao where talented dancers will perform in a fantastic live show.
Another island, but this time closer to us; in fact, we move to the Balerari Islands, precisely on the small and incredibly beautiful Menorca, characterized by crystal clear sea and small coves, such as the Cala Macaralleta, where to go and enjoy a beautiful day of sun and sea. Do not miss the Ciutadella, where you will still find ancient medieval views, or the Favarixt lighthouse, a precious place located in the natural park of S’Albufera des Grau. It is one of the best places of honeymoon in Spain.
If you like riding on horseback, you can’t miss the Camì de Cavalls (horse trail, .ndr ), a 185km route, which skirts the whole island that you can do on foot or by bike, if you prefer. And finally, the Cova d’en Xoroi, a natural cave transformed into a disco bar, one of the most visited places on the island, so elegant shoes with heel 10 and a sexy suit in a suitcase!
Finally, we take you a little further north, to San Sebastian, one of the most elegant and chic Spanish cities, with its beautiful historic center located between the charming port and Urgull mountain. To see the Bahía de la Concha, a splendid urban landscape, wherein the middle stands the Isle of Santa Clara, we also advise you to visit on a boat to admire the coast from the sea; also the beaches of San Sebastian are all to be discovered, such as the Concha, the Ondarreta and the Zurriola, a destination especially for young surfers . It is one of the best places of honeymoon in Spain.
If you decide for one of these wonderful places that we have just advised you could also decide to create some reference to the destination chosen among the various wedding details, such as wedding placeholders made with printed paper with the typical tiles of the Plaza de Espana in Seville, or you could still make original wedding favors, which are a reminder of the city chosen as a destination.
